Meet the Misfits
A Little Different. A Lot Handmade.
Welcome to Misfit Creations, officially known online as Creations by the Misfits!
We're a mother-daughter team with a love for crafting, a whole lot of creativity, and a special place in our hearts for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
If you've ever watched Rudolph, you probably remember the Island of Misfit Toys — a place for toys that were a little different but still had so much love to give.
Well, we happen to think being a little different is something worth celebrating!
Two Misfits, One Creative Adventure
We're a mother-daughter team who share a love for crafting, creativity, and making things that are a little different!
Mom is the talent behind our painting and sewing creations, from hand-painted ornaments to fabric gifts.
I'm usually surrounded by colorful yarn, creating crochet plushies and quirky little characters, or working on our vinyl ornaments.
Together, we bring our different talents and ideas to life, creating a shop filled with handmade treasures that reflect a little bit of both of us.
We don't limit ourselves to just one kind of craft, and we certainly don't believe everything has to fit neatly into one category.
That's part of what makes us Misfits!
Why Misfit Creations?
Our shared love for Rudolph helped inspire the name Misfit Creations.
We wanted a name that reflected who we are, what we love, and the personality behind our handmade creations.
When it came time to build our website, we couldn't use Misfit Creations as the website name, so Creations by the Misfits became our online home.
Different name, same Misfits, same handmade heart!
Handmade with Heart and a Little Mischief
Every creation begins with an idea, a little imagination, and a whole lot of hands-on work.
Some days we're surrounded by colorful yarn and crochet hooks. Other days, it's fabric, paint, ornaments, or a brand-new idea we just couldn't resist trying.
Our shop is filled with a little bit of everything: crochet plushies, quirky little dumplings, hand-painted and vinyl Christmas ornaments, tooth fairy pillows, fabric totes, seasonal decorations, and plenty of other handmade surprises.
We believe handmade gifts should have personality. They should make someone smile, bring back a memory, celebrate a special moment, or simply remind someone that they were thought of.
Some items are sweet. Some are silly. Some celebrate special memories. And some are just too cute to leave behind!
That's why we love creating things you won't find in every store.

One thing you'll quickly discover about the Misfits is that we don't like being limited to just one kind of craft.
Our collection is always growing and changing as new ideas come to life. You might visit looking for a Christmas ornament and discover a tooth fairy pillow, a handmade tote, or a tiny crochet dumpling you didn't know you needed!
