Christmas Is Coming… and So Is NEACA! 🎄
Around here, Christmas doesn’t exactly sneak up on us.
It usually arrives surrounded by yarn, fabric, paint, ornaments, half-finished projects and at least one Misfit asking, “How much more do we need to make?”
And this year, there’s an extra reason we’re busy.
We’re getting ready for the NEACA Christmas Show!
We’ve Been Here Before
NEACA is one of those shows that really feels like Christmas.
Rows and rows of vendors, handmade creations everywhere, Christmas decorations filling the booths and shoppers looking for gifts they won’t find just anywhere.
We’ve pulled out some photos from our previous NEACA Christmas Shows lately, and looking through them reminded us just how much goes into getting our booth ready.
It also reminded us how much Creations by the Misfits has changed.
Some things you may recognize. Others have been added along the way. And, as usual, we have more ideas than we probably have time to make!
So What Are the Misfits Making This Year?
A little bit of everything.
Mom is painting and sewing. The crochet hooks are staying busy. Christmas characters are appearing. Ornaments are multiplying. And plenty of our year-round favorites still have to make the trip with us.
We’ll be bringing a mix of the handmade creations that make our booth ours — crochet plushies, Christmas goodies, ornaments, sewn creations, gifts for kids and plenty of other Misfit finds.
And we're not finished yet.
Over the next few weeks, we'll be sharing more of what we're making and giving you little peeks at what's headed to NEACA with us.
The Countdown Has Started
There is still plenty to do before showtime.
There will be things to make, things to pack and probably a few last-minute creations that weren't anywhere on the original list.
Because apparently that's how the Misfits prepare for a craft show. 😂
But that's part of the fun.
We can't wait to see our booth filled with Christmas again — and this time, you'll get to follow along as we get it ready.
NEACA Christmas Show, here come the Misfits! 🎄❤️
